We’ve been pretty intrigued by the “virality” of the Kony video, especially since we’re a festival founded on generating buzz around the films that enter. Anyhoo, we were particularly interested in the criticisms surrounding the Kony 2012 film because they ultimately raise the question of whether there’s value in just awareness…
